Myanmar Prime Minister Thein Sein is to visit Indonesia on March 16 to 17 to discuss bilateral issues, Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah said Friday.

During his visit, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on March 16 at the State Palace, according to Presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal. "The two leaders will talk about bilateral ties," Faizasyah said at his office.

On Rohingya refugees, Faizasyah said he could not ensure that the issue would be discussed at the meeting, as it had been already discussed during the recent ASEAN summit in Thailand.

This is Thein Sein's first visit to Indonesia since he took office on Oct. 24, 2007.
